SEMA's Approach
SEMA Feedback Device
SEMA's ToolsThe SEMA Feedback Device is a simple five-star rating tool that uses emoji faces to represent different levels of satisfaction, ranging from Very Bad to Very Good. The device is strategically placed at the exits of public institutions, allowing community members to quickly share their service experience by pressing the button that best reflects how they feel after receiving a service.
In-Person Interviews
SEMA's ToolsOur trained data collectors conduct brief face-to-face interviews using the Kobo Collect platform. After receiving a service, clients are asked a few short questions about their experience. This approach helps gather detailed feedback and insights directly from service users.
QR Code Surveys
SEMA's ToolsQR code posters are displayed in visible and accessible locations within facilities. Clients can use their smartphones to scan the QR code, which directs them to a short survey where they can share feedback about the service they received. This method allows for convenient and detailed feedback collection in real time.
USSD Code Surveys
SEMA's ToolsThe USSD feedback platform is designed for communities with limited access to smartphones or internet services. Clients simply dial the USSD code 284*24Hash and follow the prompts to complete a short survey. No airtime or mobile data is required, making it an accessible and cost-effective way to collect feedback from even underserved communities.
